Go whale watching, you can pay for a tour or just sit on the beach of Kahai’s south shore and watch the whales swim and play at your leisure as well as theirs. This part of Hawaii is called whale alley during the months of November to March.

The trails offer easy walking nature trails to challenging hikes into hidden valleys and streams. Then there are also guided tours on some of these trails for as little as three dollars per person. That’s not a bad price for a day of wondrous beauty and delights. If you’re a golfer, try a day’s golfing for as little as seven dollars.

There are many evening shows offered at night free of charge and they are not diminished by the “free”. You will enjoy top of the line shows that will keep you entertained. Many places offer free hula lessons or you can try your hand at making leis. Most of the hotels and resorts have their own shows that go with staying there.
