hawaiiIf you have decided to go the Big Island Hawaii for the first time, you might like to know how you will spend your time. Well, the only thing that can go against you on this spectacular island is time. There is never enough of it to see and do all that you can on your visit here. So, before you start packing here is your dream vacation all laid out for you for a small part of what you will see and do when you get there.

You will be greeted at the airport with wonderful lei placed around your neck. Then you will be escorted to a five star hotel, where you will be offered an array of amenities that go with your room. Your room will be surrounded with views of tropical lush vegetation and sparkling white beaches. Waterfalls will be flowing in a gentle flow outside your balcony; you will feel yourself relax just by the atmosphere that surrounds you.

The next morning your adventure will begin. Off you will go to the Volcano National Park, where you will witness the moon like surface of a dormant volcano and listen to the legend of the famed Madame Pele, the Hawaiian goddess of fire. Just at 5000 feet stands Kilauea. Although this is not Hawaii’s biggest volcano, it is pretty impressive on it’s own. You will also pass the Halemaumau Fire Pit and Kilauea Iki Crater before you stop at the Thurston Lava Tube, which is an extinct lava tube that you will find very interesting.

Another day may find you whale watching, where a boat will take you on an exhilarating ocean safari and the star will be the world’s largest mammal. Watch these giant animals strut their stuff while they frolic in the bluest ocean you’ve ever seen, but this is not all there is to this boat ride. You can go sshore to a Rainforest just south of Kilauea volcano, where you’ll stroll the grounds of this serene place and feel the tranquility of nature at her finest. You will find an inner peace that you never thought was possible.

These are but a few of the wonderful choices you will have on the Big Island. Of course, you won’t be able to cover everything on the first trip, so you’ll just have to make plans to return again and again.
